My journey on YouTube: Act II.

YouTube is my first love as a content creator. I started creating food and lifestyle content in 2016, two years before I got into blogging, web design and content marketing. I learned how to storyboard, edit videos, and maneuver a camera before I learned about UI (user interface) and coding. It’s partly because I’m a theater kid at heart and YouTube was a natural jump from drama classes.

As I’ve explained in my bio, I took a break from content creation to hone my design and marketing skills. But things aligned this month and I was in an exceptionally creative mood - so I said F you to my fears and hit record.

Full disclosure, I was totally inspired by Mathew McConaughey’s introduction video that I wrote a quick poem for my YouTube channel trailer.

Cheers to a second rodeo on the social media app built for storytellers. Cheers to getting back to my first love as a content creator.

If you’re thinking of starting a YouTube channel, this is your sign to go ahead and do it!

If you’re not sure where or how to start, look for inspiration from your favorite celebrities - like I did.

I’m just to grateful to be where I am in life, to have this much clarity and focus, to be at peace with my direction in life, and to be able to have genuine fun creating content.

I’m excited to share more of my personal and business development journey with you on my channel.
